hmmm it seems the diagram was stealthily changed. Maybe they have commitments they're not ready to announce yet?

I like massive steel structures. This will be epic.

I like this building, and although there are others in NYC I like better, I'll enjoy watching the construction of this one because of all that old-timey steel.

Do they use American or foreign steel?

I just wondered because it happens more with openings like that in the structure.

With wind blowing through those openings, it is a distinct possibility.

Site Photos Capture Construction Progress at Hudson Yards

Quote:
At 387 metres and 90 floors above street level, 30 Hudson Yards will become the second tallest office building in New York City — and consequently the tallest of Hudson Yards — upon completion in 2019. The 240,000 square metres of LEED Gold-designed spaces are currently under construction, and the tower's steel structure is approximately six storeys tall as of November 2015. A protruding observation deck on the 88th floor will become the highest outdoor observation point in the city.

There is so much complicated heavy steel for this one. Hopefully it will be less complicated a couple of floors higher.
