By NYC, you guys mean Manhattan, right? Cause I think the remaining 4 boroughs are craps. Bitter truth.

It is obvious that you haven't been to Brooklyn or LIC in a while.

Aaaaaand the point of this comment issss...???
I think all the other boroughs have very pretty and interesting places, not with skyscrapers, but different, nice and interesting in their own.
Not all of New York has to be like Manhattan, fortunately. For God's sake, not even all of Manhattan is "like Manhattan"

Each one of NYC's boroughs is more interesting than most US states.

By states, do you mean cities? Because if you do I don't think so, I'd love to visit some other cities in the US, like Denver, that city has such a nice looking skyline and the landscape is breathtaking. I also love Seattle.

Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens is in itself far more interesting than Great Plain states, most Midwest states, most southern states, and most of New England. My personal opinion.

States that may be as interesting: Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Utah, California, Hawaii.

..LOL!!.one really has to be a moron to compare a neighbourhood with a state!
..And New Yorkers who "like"such an ignorant comment should go a bit further than Albany!
Too many people think they know beautiful America just because they watch american movies..
..Can't figure out why Skyscrapercity is so attractive for dumb and uncultured kids;it is a fact the best contributors already moved..elsewhere..

That said, I would compare Manhattan and Nebraska, or Iowa.

The amount of truly urban area in NYC dwarfs anywhere else in the US or Canada. I find vibrant, diverse, urban areas the most interesting to me. If one prefers small towns or nature good for them. This forum is for appreciation and discussion of urbanity, architecture, city life, and new developments.
