There is tremendous space on the West side Hudson Yards for that.

Seriously, there ARE many areas for developers with enough money.
Look at what Donald Trump did recently in SoHo for an example.

I don't care about highraises. I'm saying this boom could lead to building more skyscrapers off the island.

Okay, you're right.
We have opportunities in Queens (I'm sure you know what area I'm talking about), Brooklyn and Jersey City has proven itself worthy of complimenting the area.

Jersey City is the place to watch in my opinion. I'm always seeing new things go up there. The newest and biggest proposal is those dual towers that are 1,000ft+

I'm just waiting for the day when Jersey will become a borough of NYC.
Just wait for it!

Convincing the city to expand the subway to Jersey City has been considered.

The PATH is a subway line that runs up 6th Ave from NJ.

Maybe so, but the MTA probably has union workers opposed to serving New Jersey.

Let's make New Jersey a borough and expand the MTA subway service!
Make that Metrocard worth more.

Though being OT, I'd like to know: Which dual towers in JC are you talking about? Thanks!

Just the shorter one for now, but Coach is taking about half that tower though.
