I think the north tower appears to be up to 1400 feet tall. I wonder if they plan to beat 432 Park

The new design looks like the placeholder towers from the Liebiskind WTC design

there wouldn't be much of a point, 432 Park is Residential this tower is for office. You don't attract business tenants by saying it's the tallest building in the city, you want to show them it's a good place for them to have their employees work everyday.
Of course, it can be both

Perhaps then they plan to compete with 1wtc? Well, in terms of height.

I cannot see any height increase in that render and all sources keep mentioning 1300 ft, so this looks a lot like speculation to me.

Comparing it to 1 Penn plaza, which is 750 feet it looks more like high 800s or 900 feet, just a guess

4 for phase I, a hotel/resdential, a supertall mixed use tower, the Coach anchored south office tower and the supertall northern office tower.
Just off site there will be other huge towers, One Hudson Yards, the Girasole and the Sherwood Equities tower are 3 proposed buildings likely to exceed 300 m.
There will be other buildings built to the west* for phase II, currently we only have place holders.

here's a comparison from the old renderings. I think the height for the north tower is the same, the switched around crown and smaller coach tower are fooling the eye.

and Phase II

Observation deck.

Not sure of the location: is that Jacob Javits Center on the north of the phase II?

^ Yup. Javits is the low rise blackish building right north of phase 2, on the West Side Highway. The North Office Tower does look a bit more slender and taller than it was shown in previous renderings, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Ok! So I saw the site about one year ago without knowing that was the Hudson Yards one!

The Coach tower is clearly shorter in the new renderings.

Oh, well. Doesn't bother me at all. This is the 21st century Rockefeller Plaza!

I agree. Que sera. The eastrrn portion of the HY has a 1,300 foot tower, a 1,000 footer, and a few 800 footers, all of which have great designs. Also, we will get a NY version of the Place de la Concorde or the Piazza Navona.

found this on ssp

1. This office tower, by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, will become Coach headquarters.
2. Apartments by Diller Scofidio +Renfro, joined by David Rockwell: condos on top, rentals below.
3. The flagship office building, also by KPF: 1,300 feet high.
4. The curvy multiuse tower by David Childs contains a hotel, condominiums, and a big Equinox gym.
5. The shopping arcade (please don't call it the mall).
6.The Culture Shed: still unrevealed, but a great big space for traveling exhibits and other events.

Can anyone direct me to an updated render of this site fully completed, with 1) the Manhattan West twins; 2) 3 Hudson Blvd; 3) 34th and 10th St; and 4) 15 Penn Plaza all in the picture as well?
