Just such an amazing design. I hope they will somehow revive this project. (should be possible with the boom in the high end housing market)

I'm sure of it. That stump is a goldmine! It can support a 400+ meter building without the need of any demolition or underground construction

That will only happen in our dreams. But it is a great dream isn't it. Building a massive art deco tower really wouldn't make any sense today though.

ArtDeco-inspired postmodern towers are still built today or were in rather recent years.
Think about PingAn in Shenzhen for instance. Or the marvellous Parkview Square in Singapore.

And of course it makes sense to give a building of any size some decent, timeless design.
Most of these glass phalli aren't really what could be considered timeless. They are fashion-driven.

Anyway, most of the towers on the Hudson Yard site still look promising.
And NYC should be glad this area is finally redevelopped.
