Still, in a city full of neighborhoods that clamor for better access to parks, they decided to build their new park right next to one of the largest and best funded existing parks in the city, Hudson River Park, one block West from another one, the High Line, and one south of Pier 57, which will soon have its own rooftop park? There are so many locations that are more deserving of both green space and an eye catching landmark than this one.
