FJORDCITY | Visma Hovedkvarter | 67m | 17 fl | Completed

Visma Bygget
Visma Bygget is a part of the OperaKvarteret highrise clauster

Visma, a Norwegian founded consulting business, has acquired this second building in the Barcode development for relocation of their Oslo head-
quarters. The 67m tall building is structured as three ‘towers’, connected internally by large, three-story atriums. The towers vary in heights and
provide for a semi-sheltered roof terrace on top of the middle tower. The building is located in the center of this new development, along a new
major street and adjacent to a pedestrian route connecting the areas behind the train lines, by a bridge, with the waterfront and former harbor
area.

This unique location, in a new dense development, anchors the building at ground level with large public spaces and creates a landmark with its 17
stories. It will attract both future employees and clients, encouraging a dynamic working environment and culture, enabling Visma to deliver top
services to their clients. The building is designed by Dark Arkitekter AS.

This building looks better now with the new renderings, didn't like it at all before but now I really like it! Isfjellet became worse but this one has improved due to the new renderings!

Finally some better renderings. Looks good though, nice and a different facade from the rest!

Magnificent!

But isn't there a contradiciton between the two renderings. The facade looks a little different. I love them both anyway

The first one is a much older rendering, so the second one is more correct.

Not U/C quite yet, but approved and a lease for the office space found(even though Visma won't use it for themselves), so any day now. Hopefully...

Visma was never U/C. The process was stopped before any construction had begun. They have been working on that hole for quite some time. But that hole will be underground parking and technical space for alle the buildings around there as far as I understand.

Does a crane make this U/C? I don`t think so. The crane could be there for many reasons. The new render looks good though!

Blueprints

Here are some blueprints of the building and surroundings. I'm sorry about the poor quality of the photos, but I had to photograph and then shrink printouts I took at the Oslo planning department.

Ground floor. (from left to right: PWC, KLP, Isfjellet and Visma)

Floor plans for all 17 floors

Elevation of the Dronning Eufemias gate facade

Railtrack side elevation

They are electronically avaliable for everybody who's interested at the customer center at Plan- og Bygningsetaten. But you have to go there during opening hours:p

Architects and developers aren't too keen on publish drawing while they are under scrutiny from planning authorities it might seem...
