Btw, I remember passing the construction site last winter just after dawn. The sun's angle is such that the rays reflect on the building back onto the E4 so motorists going north are blinded somewhat by in their eyes a low-standing sun.

I have a colleague at work who passes it every day.. he HATES that building

I think it's been quite nice to follow how it's risen and apart from not being able to watch directly at it when passing Sörentorp going north, I can't imagine why. It reminds me a bit of the obelisque at Sergels torg.

I think it looks pretty OK, but it would be good if the sign were in neon instead.

Ugh, give it a rest some time. The crowd here at skyscrapercity got to be the whiniest one I've ever encountered. Be happy that they even did build the highrise in Kista.

Calm down, the picture was focusing on the sign, so I commented on the sign. I've expressed me enormous delight of the building in general several times.

Damn! Scandic sign really doesn't suit there.

Atleast it won't be too visible,as it's located on lower part of the building (please tell me that they are not sticking another sign on the tower itself!)

Despite the signage, I think the tower looks quite beautiful completed.

Finally, Kista and Stockholm have another highrise that is a good addition to the area that may have a nice cluster of taller buildings in the future. Despite the slightly uninspiring shape the 'Victoria Tower' has an interesting facade that makes it an outstanding landmark. I, personally, like this building and especially, its facade. However, i also hope for that the towers that are/will be planed/built in the same area would have some even more interesting and outstanding sollutions.

P.S. if someone of you wondered why i am not a very active forumer for quite a long time now, i would like to say that i got into a busy student life again here, in Stockholm, and now have not very much spare time due to a busy schedule. However, i will try to improve as a forumer soon, aswell.
