Lovely shot, thanks, finally whole base is seen from above! Just can't understand why are they SO slow?!

Maybe those "working" cranes are just a social task to prevent the loss of jobs in construction sector in latvia This is my ironical joke, but more seriously: if they can lay only the foundation of building in 2 yrs time, then what are we talking about?
Tornimäe highrises topped out in 2 years (in those utopical years when dirt cheap loan money flooded like a mud) and in those times people were complainig here that those estonians are so slow. I think they were/are by themselves with or without those alien funding.

This project somewhat makes me smile

I read in the magazine about Empire state building recently, that is almost 400m and was built in 8 months And we , with our modern and fancy technologies, even druing the good times couldnt even get to 1st floor

I have magic levitation skills. Joke!
Pictures were taken from the bridge with a mobile phone.
The building site looks dead, may be it is, because there is no main builder.
Seems, that the investor (Balasta Properties) had a contract with company ''BMGS'' to build only the basement (0 cycle works), nothing more. Who will be the main builder I don't know, the most important question is ''when''!

Strange to see 'da Vinci' without single worker - usually there are at least two of them going forwards and backwards! Man, these shots do really make an impression of the project being on hold...

Yep, every time I go by there I do also see the same! What's the sense of moving three cranes if the base was constructed long ago?!

Yay, finally you've got it that Da Vinci is on hold...

And, yes, all this time since august cranes were moving just for fun, just to make an impression:

Hmm, that's a really confusing situation with da Vinci, moving cranes only to make an impression?! That's just something never probably experienced here before, so odd.

Wow,two years and only basement level is finished? That's some really slow progress...

I like the highrise part of this project, though it doesn't seem to fit together with lower part. Still,it would be a highrise Riga desperately needs (if for nothing else, then just for building density)

Oh,and one question - what's the purpose of that two storey house on the river?

That's just dead-alive situation with da Vinci.. I hope they could find some real investor or owner and would do as they did it with Z-Towers!
