RULES and THREAD LIST - Please read before creating a thread!
Welcome to the "Imperial Eras" forum of Rate our Architecture! This is a forum where we can create polls on COMPLETED BUILDINGS and rate them. In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the administrators or moderators.
GENERAL RULES:
- While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters.
- Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such.
- Post-whoring just to increase your post count is not allowed. We value quality more than quantity.
- Advertising, spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members.
- We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature.
- Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. If discovered, all accounts will be banned.
- We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
- Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
- You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
- You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.
- We also reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules, as access to our are a privilege and not a right.
- Third-party articles and images must be properly formatted and credited.
- Avoid posting using all capital letters. IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE SHOUTING!!!
- Avoid posting like you're texting (e.g. byutiful struktyur) from your cellphones. We're trying our best to be reader-friendly. Proper capitalization is also encouraged. Something like this "niCe aRchiTecTuRaL sTyLe" isn't pleasant and refreshing to the eyes.
RULES IN THREAD CREATION:
- All "Rate our Architecture" threads must be created as a poll, so that votes can be more easily tracked.
- All threads must be created with the same poll format, which is 15 poll options, with the voting options going from "10.0" to "3.0 or less" in .5 intervals.
- If you messed up with a poll, created the wrong poll options, etc., you may create a new thread, with the correct poll format. If you still failed the second time around, you may now seek help by sending a PM either to Matthieu or to Sinjin P.
- If you failed to include a poll in your thread, you may PM Matthieu or Sinjin P. to add the poll it for you.
- Each building is entitled to one poll thread. Duplicate threads will be deleted.
- This isn't necessarily a rule but thread starters are encouraged to make their introductions interesting by adding essential information such as the history of the building, its architectural style, etc. It would also help voters decide how much they would rate the building
