Maybe not MOST beautiful, but the exterior and square area of Decatur MARTA Station in Atlanta were just recently renovated and look quite nice...

Although the platform areas didn't get any updating, I like the 70's retro look of the murals. Colorful!

The similarity between Valancia Alameda and Moscow Strogino is really striking. Are the entrance buildings also similar?

No, they are completely different, and Alameda is older.

This is perhaps my favorite stop in Paris -- probably because it is right next to one of my favorite Parisian hangouts: the Louvre Des Antiquaires.

I like those Berlin stations. They're not the most "beautiful" but they're certainly interesting. I'm surprised I can't see Rathaus Spandau in the U7 list though! I've always liked that one.

The new Canary Wharf tube station I remember being pretty spectacular. About 4 flights of escalators to get to the surface though!

Just the two isn't it?

I agree, the Jubilee Extension stations are unique, amazing, and incredibly expensive. The amount of money spent on them is shocking!

Ah yes I think it was the Bank DLR station that took 4 escalators to get to the surface.
