BUSAN by hkskyline - #3 Random Walks

Time for a walk in the city. I began my day near the Lotte Hotel, randomly walking around the streets towards Busan Station. Unfortunately it was cloudy and gloomy but at least it didn't rain.

The Lotte skyscraper is quite visible in the area. This part of Busan doesn't have so many skyscrapers.

So many times when I was hungry at night in Seoul, I'd go to this chain to get some chocolates and drinks.

A mad cow?

I decided to venture into this side street to see the wired mess.

The way Koreans advertise their stores is a bit different from what I'm used to seeing in the Chinese-speaking world.

HKskyline do you prefer the street appearence in Korea or Japan?

Korea's streets look busier and denser and the structures look thicker

I think we can all assume Japan have better streets, BUT Seoul does have some nice streets that I prefer more than Tokyo, because its wider bigger and more grandeur.

I've lived in both places, so I can answer more or less From the point of view of the buildings, personally I prefer the korean cities - they are a bit more fresh looking and compact than japanese ones. But Korea has more markets and food stands than Japan, creating more chaos at street level . In this sense, Korea is a bit like spain with japan like the UK. Maybe not the best analogy but I think not a bad one.
