The 120 number is correct. The one apartment/floor rumor is not.

WOW, really great, I love how thin this thing is! Looking forward to see some cladding, hope it will be as luxurious as the shape of the building!

This tower deserves a name, not just an address!
"The Needle" would fit nicely... that was the name of a cancelled project near MoMa in the 80's and should be available now...

Yes, the structural work seems to be done, but there's still no glass yet... what reminds me a bit of Burj Dubai in early 2007. Will the cladding of 785 Eight Avenue begin soon, or is there a delay?

And I've just noticed that the crane has gone already. So all the cladding is brought up by the elevator on the back side of the tower, I suppose.

Anyone have renderings of the North facade (no windows) or floor plans?

I really like this one. Very unique.

One strong wind and it will be down, I don´t belive this, It´s very claustrofobic, but nice design.

They've taken into account the construction of a tower to the right of the building (with the blank concrete wall) - what about to the left? Does the developer own the lot to the left and can residents expect a tall tower just beyond that lot - i.e. 10 feet away from their windows? Should it have been built as a true mid-block building expecting towers butted up to both sides?
