Although there are even better models for urban photography. Nonetheless it's a nice city...much better than Frankfurt for example.

Your style really varies compared to later shots. Keep changing, that won't hurt.

I really like your impressions, but I rather dislike the city itself, sorry. Cologne actually has loads of (unused) potential, especially regarding the ridiculously small old town area.

They should at least finally redevelop the area around the Dom. Reconstruction of the Domhotel, the central station and mayhap Hohenzollernbrücke would be the first steps to make Cologne a somewhat grander city

It would have been great if the old town had been reconstructed with old facades. I guess that's still possible since they decided to keep some of the old narrow streets instead of just building a 4 lane highway thru the old town.

well, I have spend a lot of time in Koln on my crazy tripps. I do LOVE this city and I try to back there every year ;-) I must admit I am so much speechless to see such brilliant photos of this city. well done @Kampflamm. I have see different point of view of Cologne.

and my lovely Hyatt Hotel. I have spend there lovely times, just parties and meeting with my friends

and on the Hausboat...5 years ago we have an action as "Friedensmauer" and I was there and I was painting part of the wall for a peace. Nowdays it looks so shitty;-( and it makes me so sad
