^Interesting that the figures are so positive. I thought that the French economy was still somewhat in the doldrums.

CDG-Warsaw takes 1h 41 min and CDG-Stockholm takes only 1h50min acccording to flightaware.

Warsaw is about 300km closer, but only 9 min shorter flight time. What is the reason ?
jetstreams, weather or faster airplane ?

Looks like shopping has become an art form at CDG... From The Moodie Report:

Aéroports de Paris unveils luxury fashion area at Paris Charles de Gaulle

Known all over the world for exquisite quality, fashionable French brands have made their mark at Paris' busiest airport, bringing a whole new shopping experience for travelers wanting to bring a slice of France home.

Quote:

Created by AdP architects, the new area – which took 15 months to complete – is described as a place of relaxation, culture and shopping, and aims to offers travellers visiting France one last unforgettable Parisian shopping experience.

Seems like Paris CDG is taking a page from Amsterdam Schipol in adding more high end retail at the airport.

Les autres travaux étaient déjà prévus, le fusion de quelques satellites du T1 est donc confirmée.

Passengers will be welcomed in their own language at Paris CDG. The message " Welcome to France , welcome to Paris " will be displayed in the language of the country the aircraft is coming from. Apart from this message, the new screens will display other informations as local time and weather, localization of luggage conveyors and estimated delivery time.
