I know that's the conclusion we came up with, but I'm not so sure now.

Even in Tai Koo Shing, if you angle your camera carefully you can get some really devastating looking pictures - and Tai Koo Shing is a fairly well spread out estate.

It's just selective photography ; taken at angles made to make the density look far worse than it actually is.

The building materials used in Tai Koo Shing were good, and they lasted, but the general layout of the estate is very bad. So many units face each other with very few views. Unless you're living along the peripheral buildings, it's basically window looking at window.

Sure, people say the estate is well maintained and the price reflects that, but I doubt people want to move there for an easy harbour view.

Yupp, Cambridge Bay. No wonder there's a high rate of alcoholism, drug abuse and suicide there.

Although this comunity looks decent:

The worst places to live:

A polluted city like Chernobyl or a chinese or russian city.

This is a very stupid thread, Worst place to live is a sure flame bait. Every country and communiti and city in the world has its own hell. Personally I live in San Jose California in the Heart of sillicon valley. I have a very "cheap" $600,000 2 bedroom townhome. and I think is very nice with 2 car parking and near a park. For me the is as close to perfect as I can get (Close to work and Schools) My friends accross the bay In san Francisco has a $800,0000 opmne bedroom condo that he had to get a roommater for to help with payments. They both fight for the shower in the morinng. Most of the ppl in his community have similar problems and are barely able to make peyments (Blame the housing colapse) So that is hell in my opinion.

So People please dont catch this bait.BTW i know a friend from Namibia wo said that for him the US was hell because of Bush so go figure

See? Selective photography - this is an image of Hong Kong's middle/upper-middle class neighbourhood, the Mid-Levels:
