But Złota44 actually gets permission.

Złota44 will be 192m tall (not +200m)

Zlota already got the permission, just a few days ago, we hope the construction starts in spring. I never heard of a 200m+ version of Zlota44, i've always heard about 192m.

Looks quite similar.

Could you post a link to that Wuhan's tower thread?

Wow, grows with rate of 1m/day. I hope they will not get permission now and will try some month later (would be supertall then)

The tower is said to be built here, only 600m from the city core, vis a vis the Millennium Plaza Tower (116m high).

WOW! Amazing Tower! Great height as well. 282m in Europe is massive.

First class stuff. Warsaw *has* to build this.

Polish Kulczyk To Build Highest Skyscraper in Europe
7 December 2007 - Polish News Digest

Polish investmnet company Kulczyk Holding plans to build in Warsawa the tallest skyscraper in continental Europe whose construction, estimated at 1.0 bln Polish zloty ($399 mln/273 mln euro), is to start at the end of 2009, it was reported on December 7, 2007.

The skyscraper will be 282 m high, or almost 24 metres higher than Commerzbank Tower, located in Frankfurt, Germany, which ranks first in terms of height in Europe. The building will be constructed in high-end Wola neighbourhood on a land plot owned by Kulczyk. The project is to be implemented by Kulczyk Holding's subsidiary Kulczyk Holding Chmielna Development.

Kulczyk Holding has asked the world's best architects to cooperate in the construction of the skyscraper, which is expected to become a Warsaw landmark, Kulczyk Holding corporate communication and international relations director Jaroslaw Sroka, said on December 6, 2007 in a press release.

The project, to be financed 9.0 pct by Kulczyk Holding and 91 pct by a bank consortium, is to be completed in two years from its launch.

I have a feeling that this is far from the final design.

If it would stand high and proud right now it would have been the tallest in Europe, but in 2011 it will be the third or fourth

I also think the design will be totally different, i would like someone like Calatrava or Piano here.
