The story behind Wuxi and their economic model of collective coop and a rare rural success at industrialization are far more interesting then the tower's design.

I like the tower mostly because of the very unique story behind it.

another village in this city,every village family gets 1KG gold and 1KG silver. there is a common factor of these kind of villages, they own a large factory.as a sharehold(naturally),villager gets bonus every year.

1斤(which is 500g), not 1KG. Unlike Huaxi village, that village has been keeping a low profile very hard for a long time. Now they blew the cover by distributing gold and silver. Jiangyin really is an incredible city.

I thought Chinese cities stopped building this sort of stuff like 15 years ago?
Anyway, I think we can nominate this for the ugliest supertall in China award. This building is freakin ugly. And that 24th floor interior picture... I think even McDonald's has more tasteful interiors these days.
