Fat and uninspiring... They should be able to do better than this!
I like the groundfloor ideas though.

Excellent. More underground city connections! The basement for this one would connect with the Carrefour Alliance downstairs from Simons.

Sadly, Bens will be wiped off the map. It's too bad they won't make an aesthetic change to integrate the art deco glory of the facade.

Martinmtl : I'm not sure, but I think this is the oldest design of the tower, released in 2003. Is it?

Montreal always seems to get these mid-sized buildings right. Good proportion, very chic, and maintains that great feeling Montreal has at street level.

This is my favourite building proposed for Montreal bar none.

It is the most awesome building proposed to be built in the city since the CGI complex.

Still alive, and in a rush to get moving:

The 900 De Maisonneuve West, faster

Ivanhoe Cambridge chomping at the bit. The subsidiary of the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec has not yet found its main tenant for the 900, De Maisonneuve Boulevard West, in the box for over a decade. But its applicant, Shooner Dagenais Tourneux of The architectural firm Menkes is in a full sprint to complete the final design of the building of 27 floors and 475,000 square feet of leasable area, of which construction is planned at the corner of Mansfield Street.

Brokers have approached the promoter for various tenants last fall. "But Ivanhoe Cambridge insisted tenants to 180,000 square feet," says our source, who wishes to remain anonymous.

However, the company recently recalled brokers to ask if these customers were always looking space. "The order comes from above:" We must go forward "," says our source, who believes that Ivanhoe Cambridge may even start the project without having rented at least 40% of the area, as is usually the case in Montreal. "We are currently in the market to actively discuss with prospective tenants, said Jean Laramee, Vice President, Eastern North America. We will not give a specific threshold for the start of pre-leasing. "
