There's only one other completed supertall, the AT&T Corporate Center.

It's up, up, and up for Chicago! Walking around downtown as it is already takes my breath away. It's astonishing! And to think where we will be in a few years! I bow down to NY and HK, the other two members of the BIG 3 skylines on earth. What good company to be in. It's a good time to be a skyscraper freak in Chicago. Come and see!

This depends on the definition of supertall, some people use 300 meters others say 1000 feet (304.8 meters)

Using the 300m mark then Two Prudential Plaza at 303.3m and AT&T Corporate Center at 307m are both supertalls. This forum uses 300m, there are several supertalls listed here that are between 300m and 304m. This is the definition that SSP also use.

Big improvement on the original design. With all that;s happening along the river, I'm worried the Sears and JHC will start to feel lonely....

To be honest, no one is really sure which rendering represents the current status of the project. It could be that the "new" one was actually a previous design that proved economically unfeasible to build.

Hopefully waldorf -astoria gets approved, and will make up for this tower's lack of cutting-edge design.
I can see why you would think Chicago has an over rated skyline Brendan.
