Great photos of Hamilton. It baffles me that no one has left a comment here yet.

city centre, nature, suburbs, posh areas and less ones, street scenes and far-distant views, summer and winter: that's what i call a complete city photo tour, great work!

Correct me if I'm wrong but at one time didn't Hamilton have the highest building in the British Empire. It's that Art Deco one in many of your pic I suspect.

Very urbanized considering it's population. Which means alot of potential for redevelopment.

I didn't know the NYC subway extended to Hamilton!

Good pics though.

We need a shot of the AGH building in here... unless I missed it.

Brilliant phototour. I was at the McMaster university art gallery recently and I absolutely loved Hamilton. It's incredibly urban.

You must be speaking of the Pigott Building, which was built in 1929, late enough that there were surely taller buildings elsewhere in the British Empire. Hamilton did host the first Commonwealth Games though, and the highschool pictured in the pano about halfway through (Westdale Collegiate) was once the largest in the Commonwealth as well.

Oh yeah, that NY subway entrance is a movie prop from the filming of the Incredible Hulk movie.
