Birmingham Photos

Here are photos of Birmingham that I have taken over the last few weeks, mainly of the City Centre but there are photos of Handsworth and the Jewellery Quarter. The weather was not always on my side. I will post in sets of 10 to make it easier to upload.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The Rotunda.

A fine looking building on Soho Road, Handsworth.

A fine looking building in the Jewellery Quarter.

B.T Tower.

Cavendish House.

Love this building, Art Deco Style.

Colmore Gate Birmingham.

Beetham Tower.

Happy Christmas Birmingham!

Oh, I know now, With that wine Importers place in that rather nice building.

Spire looked to tall for St. Pauls to be honest!

Excellent photos as always LC. You're very brave taking a camera out in Handsworth though I know there's some excellent architecture there and towards Lozells there are some excellent skyline vantage points but I'd definitely never get my camera out there. It's always good to see photos of the Jewelery Quarter too - there's a thread lurking around somewhere and I fancy another visit there sometime soon with my camera, so we may need to resurrect it.

Thanks Smiley, have some friends in Handsworth so Im used to the locals lol. Yeah the Jewellery Quarter is a bit of a hidden treasure, I had never ventured out there until I saw the pics on here and thought it looked nice. Heres my next set of 10 photos.

Nice old building that would make great apartments/lofts!

What a shame these could be so nice!

Retro!

Dont these look grand, and they're in Handsworth just off the Soho Road, they're flats!

great pics, its such a shame about the area around constitution hill. Its got so much potential. always reminds me of a london suburb high street. I hope the buildings get rescued before its too late

I'm sure the old buildings around there will be renovated - it's a beautiful gateway into Snow Hill that is so important.

Great pics Charlie and Feltip!

There's some great derelict and unloved buildings around all over Birmingham that are ripe for renovation. How about a 'Buildings Ripe for Renovation' thread?
