Is there an observation deck or is it just a restaurant?

Calgary Tower (Calgary)
CN Tower (Toronto)
Coit Tower (San Francisco)*

* elevator was closed so I never got to go to the top

The torch on the Calgary Tower was lit up today for the 20th Anniversary of the '88 Winter Olympics. The torch gets lit up for various other occasions such as New Years Eve, Canada Day, etc. The designer of the Calgary Tower, Bill Milne, (originally called the Husky Oil Tower when it was completed in 1968) recently passed away. On a final note, the last addition made to the tower was a glass floor that hangs out beyond the rest of the pod, opened in 2005.

It should be noted that the torch was mounted on the tower for the '88 Olympics, making it the largest Olympic Torch in the world. According to the Calgary Public Library, the flame is "visible 15 to 20 kilometres away and required 30,000 cubic feet of natural gas an hour."

The picture is taken from the inside of the restaurant/night club UFO in the UFO-like structure, but there is also observation deck on the top of the boxy steel structure.

I've been to Harbour Centre in Vancouver
Space Needle in Seattle
I've been up to Banker's Hall West in Calgary... It's not really an observation floor, just an office where you're allowed to go in and view the Rockies

Not many.

Olympiaturm in Munich
CN Tower in Toronto (you can find pictures in my Toronto thread http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=592033)
I've stood below the Tv tower in Berlin, but I didn't go in for some idiotic reason.

Tuesday I'll visit Sears Tower in Chicago.

Just got back from Sydney. I have plenty of pictures of the AMP Tower and i will post some when i get home from work later. Also the views from up there... Just Amazing. I have also got some pics from the top of the Hotel my Uncle and Grandparents stayed in. It isn't an observation deck as such but it is on the roof (where the swimming pool is) of the hotel and you can "observe" the surroundings 140m up too.
