World Trade Center Mexico Revolving Observation tower

The World Trade Center in Mexico City the largest and tallest WTC in the world after 9/11.

The World Trade Center México is a building complex located in Mexico City, Mexico. Its most famous and recognizable feature is the 52-story, 207m (670ft) high Torre WTC, one of the tallest buildings in Mexico City (including antenna). When talking about the World Trade Center México, one usually is referring to the uniquely shaped tower.

The complex also includes a convention center, cultural center, parking facilities, a multi-screen cinema, a REVOLVING OBSERVATION luxury restaurant, and shopping center with Sears as an anchor tenant. It will also include a 22-floor hotel, which is currently under construction. Located on Avenida de los Insurgentes, the complex is served by the Polyforum station of the Metrobús Bus rapid transit system, located a few meters away. The station is named after the Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros, a part of the WTC complex,is also said that it has a bomb shelter deep in its base for VIP´s.

can we really put observation towers and observation decks on tall buildings in the same category? It really waters down the discussion.

Have been up a few:
Eiffel Tower
Blackpool Tower
London Eye
Rialto Towers in Melbourne
Sydney Tower
St. Pauls Catherdral in London - Anyone who's climbed up to the viewing gallery at the top of the dome would agree it belongs here I think!

However here is a picture I took of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth, UK. Nowhere near as big as other towers around the World but still impressive!

London Eye is a good one to 'fly' on

Been up the Olympic Tower in Munich, built same year as I was born so it holds a certain affinity for me.

The Tower of the Americas

An observation tower commemorating the 1968 Hemisfair world fair. It is not so elegant or outstanding, it is more important for its cultural importance: it stands for the confluence of civilizations in the Americas.

I do not take credit for these photographs. They are from the official web site for the towerhttp://www.toweroftheamericas.com/
Much thanks to the original photographer.

Which one is not an observation tower? I thought we all agreed that both skyscrapers and towers are included in this thread .

its titled Observation Towers. If you want to include Observation Decks on Office Towers, then change the title.

The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta has a revolving observation deck and lounge on the 73rd floor. I've been to a few others, most noteably the Sear's Tower in Chicago.

My favorite was the London Eye...some people don't realize how large it is - each car holds something like 40 humans.
