Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport

I plucked this off a photo linked in Google Earth... Is this plan for real?

@ [anyone/everyone/all]

I don't find the design as impressive as Beijing-Capital's Terminal 3. But I give the designers credit for doing this unconventional masterplanning.

And they should have made it it larger than this since this would be the fully-expanded version of the airport. At least they could have added another runway and/or a huge cargo/freight/logistics service area.

BTW, why does Chongqing-Jiangbei International Airport only have one runway? It ought to have two given the size of the city it serves.

The airport looks like it has four passenger terminals and four runways. With those, it should become one of china's largest passenger hubs.

I heard this statement before, is it by landing/departing fee's or is it what the airport itself is worth?

It is overall... The airport charges I believe $7.50 for 30 minute parking!
That's what happens when you hand over the control of government run companys to corporate greed companys such as Maq. Bank...
