The surroundings have actually developed in the last few years can imagine this becoming a thriving metropolis by the time this building is ready for full occupation

It's amazing and mindblowing ! (in any surrounding, but especially in that surrounding)

I know this isn't the clearest photo. But you can see this building from an Airplane. I saw this while I was flying to Beijing. I got this shot right before we turned west.

It is tall. Maybe to the top of the formwork are 520 meters plus.

i dont know why but this building look taller than any other skyscrapers in china including shanghai tower..is it because it have a smaller floor plate?

Smaller floor plate and the fact that it is surrounded by much shorter buildings compared to Shanghai tower, Ping an finance center or CTF Guangzhou

Any plans for taller buildings in that cluster? - maybe some supertalls ?

I would appreciate if more of the cladding would look like the ones at the mechanical floors seeing in the last picture.
The "normal" cladding looks also good but for me a little to boring or unstructered...
