In the future I hope they can redevelop some of the industrial parks. This area has the potential to become a nice CBD of Tianjin.

Also keep in mind that this project also includes 70+ floor twins, so at least the main tower won't look so alone...

Sounds fantastic . Supertall twins are rare . Just two on the whole world at the moment.

Any sources about the floor counts of the twin towers? Because from the video the twin towers look just over 200 meters.

i like the design, but stupid to put these buildings in the middle of no where, thats why personally i dont like chinese cities because they have like 1 random supertall in the middle of tiny buildings, makes it look ugly

Nice pictures. Sadly the area looks too much like sprawl. The area doesn't look easily walkable with the wide streets. It looks like you'll need a car to get around this area unless they plan to provide a good public transportation system for the neighborhood.

I could be wrong, the area is getting a supertall and the entire development isn't complete so I might be pre-judging .

China changes incredibly quickly. So honestly I have no doubt that that picture's gonna look completely different in just 8 or so years. I'm sure there will be tons of transportation options available and a subway line is planned in the long-term.

I'm a bit skeptical when I see an entire CBD built from scratch. Seems so implausible it can be financially viable. A lot of buildings in Lujiazui, Shanghai were empty about 10-12 years ago. But now it's market has matured and absorbed all the new space. I think it'll be interesting to see if cities like Tianjin can do what Shanghai did. Some will, but I'm sure some won't.

300 million are yet to move to cities by 2025, and china still only has per capita earning equivalent to a 3rd world country. The room for growth is massive.

I don't think the final design is released yet, with 92+93 floors they should be well over 300m.
Do you understand Chinese? According to your source within the 117 building 1st floor to 92nd are offices and from 93rd floor up are hotel rooms.
