i can't believe how dreary and messy this site is compared to the ping an. maybe everything is fine, but it looks to me like the biggest score in the history of cowboy outfits.

Ping an is right in the heart of the city. This one is on the periphery. To the east of this picture there's a lot of development. But still. I really wish this were built more in a central location. I know they're trying to create an all new industrial/commercial park. But this is wild.

I zoomed out pretty far. But GF117 is that gray circle in the middle. That imagery is 15 months old, it'll be interesting to see how much is developed in another ten years.

I'm not sure if I've asked this before, is there a metro/subway line planned to serve this location? Thanks spectre000 for the map but I still have no idea where it is in the city.

I believe the nearest metro station is the Gaoxinqu metro station at the end of line 3 opened 4 months ago. In this map http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Metro_plan.png
you can see the metro plans, the Goldin Finance 117 is located in the lower left corner just above the Gaoxinqu station.

Thank you! It feels better to know where this is. Tianjin looks like a city that's mostly under construction.

Tianjin is an old city correct?

yeah Tianjin feels like what Dubai was a few years ago, constructionwise. if i could take a guess which city has the most cranes right now, my bet would be on Tianjin.

I would say Shenzhen is first, then Tianjin. Wuhan seems to be catching up very fast too.

But Tianjin is a place that there are plenty of constructions (such as Supertalls, CBD's, and so on..), followed by Shenzhen and Wuhan.

Not only that, when I was sitting in the train from Shanghai to Beijing there was ENDLESS construction. The countryside is booming like hell too. Hundreds, no I would even say THOUSANDS of flats where U/C. Sometimes highrise construction continued to the horizon. It's crazy.
