At first glance I thought there was danger of a bang inside the tunnel. I think most of us believed the same.

Boom?
The red-and-white boom, the barrier, is visible on the left close to then tunnel entrance. That technical term usually means a horizontal body. For example, a sailing boat or a crane have a boom.

Be careful at driving into Norway. There are several roads signed as a 'bomveg'. Those are not explosive roads but toll ones.

They have "otrok in auto" stickers on cars in Slovenia what means "Baby on board". But it also means "slave in the car" literally in Slovakia.

And "Hladne piće" (cold drinks) are "hungry *****" in Slovak

There is always fun when it comes to language issues.
(sorry for ot)

As a native English-speaker, language geek, and someone who writes and edits for a living, I'm highly ashamed I didn't think of that meaning of "boom"! The only - feeble - excuses I can offer are it's (1) barely visible and (2) on what to me is the "wrong" side of the road.

[hangs head in shame]

Ah, I guess I should hang my head in shame as well considering that the word we use is "slagboom". Didn't think of that.

I know the crossing, actually the priority sign is for trams only.

Where does it say that? More, the first 'give way' sign has an old tram picture under it, so the tram doesn't have priority.

Than either Romania has different priority rules for trams than in e.g. the Benelux, or the priority sign has been placed wrong or than old warning for non-priority signs have not been taken away.

In Estonia tram (or other vehicle on rails) always has priority way

In Romania I don't know of such rule and I now of a few places in my hometown where the tram doesn't have priority. If the intersection is not signed, then the tram has priority if it comes from your left (makes right turn) or drives straight, but has no priority if it comes from your right and does left turn.

Priority of tram

No priority of tram

Same here. And it is lesser than year since we have cancelled the rule of trams giving way to pedestrians on zebra crossing.

Not exactly a road sign, since I found this on a hiking trail:

My best guess is that visitors from V have a base nearby.

I first saw this in 1999 when I was visiting the UK. I know what it means, but it was just a funny sign for a yank to see.
