Come again, or is it CUM again?

And yes... The residents are well aware of the innuendo.

There's plenty of such modified signs around central Florence, I saw many of them even the first time I went there in 2007.

Another nice place in Canada

Twelve inches is a lot for this kind of destination. It could go to the long distance signs thread as well.

As it is too far, only one thing came to my mind:
If a woman won't come to *****, a ***** will come to a women

EDIT: How am I supposed to talk about certain destination if the name is banned? Rather will not think about the exact village in Austria.

Just returned from a trip to Croatia and I thought I'd share this strange stop sign. I couldn't take a picture of it while driving, but I found it in street view.

http://goo.gl/maps/La0BX (Brod na Kupi (HR) via SLO)

http://goo.gl/maps/VcNv4 (mandatory turning left or right (as if you can go anywhere else))

Also: new pavement, and the sign still says "damaged pavement".

Obviously they put:

Instead of:

They made the same mistake somewhere near I live, unfortunately I can't post a Street View link because it's not on a public road.

not really.
the first one (and installed) means "available directions on intersection". the other one means "obligatory bypassing of an obstacle (no matter on which side)"

Črešnjevec ob Dravi and Janževa Gora, two towns on one sign. I saw many such signs west of Maribor.

How do you account for that?

Does the road you're on follow the border between the two so you're really entering both, one on the left and one on the right?
