Directional road signs used between 1936 and 1959.

I don't know if there are any other still left in place, but certainly they're very rare.

Becouse the signs of the first photos follow the rule of 1979, the second photo follow the old highway code of 1959 without the "upgrade" of 1979...

Rabat, Morocco.

It's funny because it's true. We have some massive road bumps.

Direction to the Neverland... Don't go there or you'll be eaten by Falco.

Ok, apparently (Yefeh) Nof "is one of the seventy poetic names the Hebrew Bible uses for Jerusalem (Psalms 48:3), and literally means 'a place with a beautiful view'". Don't know why it's in English though.

Ah. I thought we were supposed to be looking at the main sign there.

Never heard that about Nof.

I post link in the old GMaps and I don't know where it centers in the new GMaps. Now I noticed another sign, where it says "nebesa" - it means heaven.

This billboard in New Zealand turns red when it's wet:

In the middle of nowhere, on a 350km jungle road in east Malaysia from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan, suddenly there is "Microwave Road". Perhaps there is a kitchen to cook instant noodles?
