2,670,000 sq. meters?

The hotel, business centre and offices, and sport center equal 830,000 sq. meters, the shopping mall and parking can not be 1.8 million sq. meters!

Please clarify this, thanks.

Architect website has ZERO info on this project.

foster scares me, but the building looks interesting. I can't help thinking though that all this trophy architecture is a repeat of the good old communist days. Russia is a great country but the corruption and poverty is something they should be addressing rather than look at me architecture that really only benefits the few.

proud of what? private investors are doing business, government cares of people. and cares enough. level of life in moscow is very high as well as social spendings - $38bln next year.

next time please stick on topic. this thread is about the crystal island, not about everything related to russia.

Palace of the Soviets eat your heart out...

seems almost to good too be true though, even approved a lot of simply stunning ideas like this fall flat, somethings can be too radical, but lets hope not.
