For my best Skyline nowadays possessing both big projects, Titanium and Costanera Center, it is Santiago. An elegant, modern, clean, sober, compact, definite Skyline and of design.

In second put almost to the same height that Santiago, I put to Buenos Aires, they are two totally different Skylines, that of Buenos Aires is a cement monstrosity, also big designs, modern, but I feel that it fails him to define in a point, and be mas cleanly, when I refer to cleanly speak about cables, cartels, dividing, antennas etc...

My vote is for Santiago.

This photo i take from Google Earth.

BUENOS AIRES

I Think my vote goes for Buenos Aires....maybe they dont have the tallest skyscrapers but absolutley love the elegance of the buildings......

I love Santiago too and very surprised about Lima.

While there is no such thing as a bad skyline, there are those that are stunning. I'd say South America has more than it's share of stunning skylines and backdrops...Bogota being a prime example. I love the photos everyone has posted...helps those of us who 'travel internationally' on their computer to see other countries!

That's ridiculous, skyscrapers is not synonym of development. Sao Paulo for example has many tall buildings, but they're very old and ugly.
Don't be so arrogant.
