THE MEGA WTC Picture Thread

Here it is, the MEGA WTC picture thread where all pictures of the WTC pre 9/11 are posted and we remember the Twin Towers. Keep in mind, I didn't take these pictures. Feel free to comment and add more pictures!

Here we go...

Great pics!
Here are pics I took on my trip to NY in December 96.
Back then I wasnt into skyscrapers and staring at buildings. However on the ferry out to Liberty Island I couldnt help but be impressed by the massiveness and grandeur of NY's skyline and I am glad I took these pics.

PS: Seeing the Statue of Liberty with my own eyes for the first time was a truly wonderful feeling.

the New York Skyline looks so empty now a days.

The WTC buildings were a perfect fit.

Ah the memories!!! Those towers are so grand and beautiful. Its hard to accept the fact that they are gone and will never be replaced.

I like how the world trade center reflects the sunlight very gently and elegantly.

Thanks to the people from Fotki, Great Buildings Online and Maggie Masetti who helped me with these photographs. All credit goes to them for catching this amazing moment in a blink in time.

Greatsky, I preferred that no 9/11 pictures were posted and just the WTC before 9/11. If you really want the pictures to stay though, it's alright, you can also create a thread about that if you wish?

I would like to share this website with anyone who wants to remember the towers pre 9/11. Anyone ever visit these websites before they were lost? Let me know.
