I hope it does rain. This weather is terrible. One can barely walk because it's so slippery. Stupid snow...

Some wall street idiot was riding a razor and slipped into garbage cans by city hall and pace.

snow is a part of winter season, even before we were born snow has been falling here.. i know it can be annoying and deadly sometimes but its a part of a very delicate cycle and we chose to be part of that cycle..

I hate rain.

Focus your hatred on rain. Why are we against snow here, people?

Rain soaks you. It also makes things slippery, just like snow. It gets you splashed. You have to use an umbrella. It floods the subway, thus disrupting service. Rain is not better than snow. Repeat after me: rain is not better than snow.

The sunbelt gets rain. Are we the sunbelt now? Are we not a northern, post-industrial city? For crying out loud!

I'm not against snow. It should fall between december 20th and 27th and then stop for the entire year. I'll take sunshine over rain and snow but I'll deal happily with all three./ Just no wind in the winter please.

why'd you chose that certain date??

anyway snow stays where it is unless it melts.. rain on the other hand "seeks its(water) own level" causing flash floods and all that..

Snow is just as slippery as rain is only that it stays longer where rain can dry out the next day. Just yesterday, there were roads where I could barely put on the brakes, so I had to use the emercency to stop my car. Also, I felt I was about to skid several times, but I was lucky I didn't. As a matter of fact, the driveway of the house I live in was so much covered in snow, and I had to drive real slow and make sure that I don't fall of the edge halfway there b/c of the steep hill right before the garage, b/c it would be very difficult to get the car back up from that slope.

Yeah, I prefer snow during the holiday months. Not now though...

Notice how it's much easier to walk now that most of the slush is gone. Sure, rain could make the day messy and all but in the end it washes the slush away and cleans the sidewalks. All is well...

Rain is still better than the slushy mess that we got.

I only like the powdery kind of snow. That's all.
