It looks like it might have broken into the supertall category! Nice.

Don't think it has happened yet... on Oct, 19th, senlan looks down from Pearl River Tower (from max. 310m) to Pinnacle's top. From that, I'd guess around 270m.

Not much progress on the cladding. I guess due to the recent Games. I hope it restarts soon.

Yes, and a VERY VERY expensive one to acquire.

Absolutely, the progress on the site has completely stopped, and this for at least 6 weeks. Asian Para Games are supposed to start this sunday and last one week.

Let's hope they will resume the construction straight after, without that break I guess the pinnacle and the guangzhou bank tower would have been topped out and the Leatop Plazza's cladding done or close to.

I think this is going to be one of the best looking buildings in Guangzhou once completed. The black glass already looks good and its only showing on the lower floors.

Well, I'm not so sure about that. The glass might be okay, but not the stone's colour on the side. That coffee brown is not a choice imo.

I see the building everyday, and well I don't like it so far. Let's hope it'll look better when completely done

so many supertalls under construction in Guangdong. Unbelievable
the supertalls leatop, the pinnacle and pearl river tower are also all supposed to be completed 2011 in guangzhou, giving it 5 completed supertalls in the city.

I really like the two big/small twins in the background in one of the pictures. They, although not as tall as these ones, are quite stunning and attractive for their heights. Its a real shame they aren't further up towards this new CBD area.

you mean the two white-blue ones? Well from that picture, and from far, not too bad, but in reality, they are a real eye-sore. Old, bad design, and empty on top of that. I saw big adds for renting offices there like on new buildings. I really wish the could get demolished

They are built with the one bigger than the other style, however they are identical in design. Those two sets of towers to the left of the blue and white towers look really nice and modern. A real shame that they aren't part of the new skyline as such.
