This has to be one of my favourite low-rise buildings. Fits in very well with the surrounding.

Looking at the building on the left I immediately thought of the monolith from 2001 A Space Oddesy.

I like this project. The interface of the podium with the adjoining older building works for me.

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but is there a name for the fenestration style of the podium? It seems to be quite popular in Montreal these days and it is bleeding out to Vancouver a bit but I don't have a word for it. Does anyone know?
