It is Waldorf=Astoria

IMO this skyscraper won't fit the Art Deco style of NY.

I'm not sure about this one. It dosen't have that New York feel to it. New York should go for buildings that are New York and a twisting tower dosen't have the style for this great city. But apart from that I believe that this is one good looking skyscraper and I appricate that it dosen't twist to much. If it gets built it will probally blow my mind away.

And on a side note, nothing beats the original twisting tower. The Turning Torso in Malmö Sweden.

^Yeah, just like dozens of other supertall skyscrapers aren't going up all over NYC and America, utter genius.

It'll look great in NYC. I couldn't care less what people are tired of and whether it's "NYC-like". It'll look great in the NYC skyline if it's built.

So what are the odds of this one being built?

None. This building was canceled ages ago, I don't understand why the thread is still alive...

correction: this precise locations was canceled, but the it is expected to rise in some other part of the city. Eather way, the desing and name would change, so this thread still has no reason to live.
