Thanks to the ever patient Ged for his great help in teaching an auld eejit to post up a picture, many thanks mate!

This picture was taken by a friend of mine Lil Blakeman and I was really impressed with the scale of the thing. (ships to monster trucks to men ) It also features one of the above mentioned ACL waltz's!

I liked it so much that I've determined to have a little go at it myself. Believe it or not I've never owned a camera in my life, probably something to do with having a face for radio but I will give it a shot.

I love this pic, it shows what the docks are all about, i think the best place to take a pic at Seaforth would at the top of the fly-over, the only trouble would be i'd have to pretend to 'breakdown' and would probably get arrested by the port Police

Great photo gobby, I was in your camp for ages, not able to post pics, until Doug set me straight + help from one of my grand kids. But once you know how,it becomes very addictive, so as Ged has said ,,get clicking and have fun.

phil,i bet it costs you an arm and a leg for that view of a school too mate, childwalls nice but i'd love to live right on the mersey, over looking the container terminal, isnt to much to ask for is it ?
Ged mate, i've got a few things in the pipeline,no end in site yet

gobby mate, that pic is a cracker,i've heard that they dont let snappers into seaforth anymore, how do people get these boss pics? by the way gobby mate you mentioned scale on your pic,if you look at that Acl with its back to you theres a good 10-12 metres of ship under the water which you cant see ,the mind boggles .
one last thing, i can do the 'Acl waltz' when i've had about 10 pints

It must be a very busy port that "No Smoking", probably somewhere in Northern Scandinavia i reckon...!

Crosby beach again.

You wait for ages until you have rusted to buggery then two ships come along at once,
and you think to yourself "I could be Another Pace by now.....!).........humpfh....

Cheers Kenny, it's the size that gets me, i remember flying over Tranmere once on the way to Belfast, i got a perfect view of a tanker, Helipad and everything!

I also used to work by the Ellesmere boat museum so seeing that Stolt tanker is also bringing back memories

You're right about Childwall, it ain't cheap but i got married and their's a 1 year old now so my batchelor pad had to go

Yes those brown fellas are still waiting for a lift and no, I couldn't make out the name even when zoomed in, as my picture was a bit out of focus.
