good idea, also needs moving to the construction forum

a few from today
Canary Quarter now almost structurally complete - with some kind of new activity going on in front of the area of where the taller Indescon Court tower is going - see yellow hordings.
Also Lanterns Court directly next to this development is now well under way (last pic)

Canary Quarter

I'm assuming this is Lanterns Court, I can't recall seeing any renders of this

Indeed and imagine the view in 1940 if you were brave enough to emerge from your cellar between air raids! The Isle of Dogs was a primary target.

Cladding is starting to become visible in parts, I think I'll reserve judgement until I've seen more

This is the tower on the northwest of the site, notice the lateral strips in shades of beige and brown

I'm surprised no one has commented on the cladding of the Canary Quarter towers, these horizontal beige strips have arrived completely out of the blue, as far as I can see they haven't appeared in any of the visualisations.

Here's one for example

and here's how its turning out

I don't want to judge it before its finished, but i'll admit to being a bit worried.

I had seen the beige strips a while back but as you say its a bit hard to judge at the moment as they are hidden behind scaffold & netting.

Hamiltons project page has the black clad buildings & green cladding for the smaller building but if you download the project pdf from the same page the black buildings have turned to beige.
