Yes. A group of us went up to the 21st floor (the higest concreted floor a that stage) and 16th floor terrace. It was awsome going up in a construction lift! Also the wind was so terrific...we could not believe how much the cranes were swaying.
I would slightly disagree about the PR value. This forum is filled with professionals (and future professionals) in the industry and related fields. Many of us write, email and stand up for such developments. Our picures are seen all over the world and bear in mind that Gothicforms Site is the most rtead of its kind in the world. BL used one of our forumers pics on their hoardings for Willis

^ Fixed.
![]() Here's my video from last year, by the way - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFZ_h9bKNTY I was quite disappointed with the quality... plus there wasn't enough space on my SD card. Hopefully this year will be much better. I have a new camera with 2 GB memory and a very high resolution video mode. The views will be even better than last year... 550ft high instead of 300ft.

Currently warming up after a morning of -15 temperatures in Sunshine, Banff. Muchos snow, and zero faceplant action yet, so clearly not pushing myself enough. Happy New Year to everybody. |

Would love to claim a space on this tour - the views from up there will be fantastic. Would also be interesting to learn about the building's energy story.
I'll refrain from posting a justification for my inclusion for now, but if one is required I'm more than ready to.

I'd love to be a part of this trip, if there's still spaces left. I'm a regular on the Leeds forum, and have followed all the London threads since I moved last year. Would love to come along if there's space!

I would love to go although I fear I may not have posted enough on the thread (I was too busy dribbling into my keyboard over the photos!)

Hope all those who go have a great time and take lots of pics! I've been looking for an excuse to hop on a plane and visit London again but I don't think this is quite it...not yet anyway. I do like the BroadgateTower but it isn't amongst my favourite projects and I'll be content with letting others who are more enthusiatic about it enjoy the experience!
Come 2012 (or thereabouts) if the people behind the Bishopsgate Tower or LBT are offering a similar deal I would very much love to go (if I'm still around on this site), I would certainly consider that a worthwhile trip!! Have fun whoever goes!

Just a reminder that the tour is expected to occur on a Saturday, clearly during daylight hours. we will not know that date til the manager has finalised the arrangements AFTER the 7th January.
