Italy has probably the best variety of touristic attractions in it's size range and one of the best in the world.

I'd like to see our heritage enhanced and this thread is doing it well, I'm waiting for the government ( :facepalm: ) plans.

1129. The Basilica of Santa Maria dei Servi (also known as San Clement), Siena, Tuscany.

The church is built on the site of the former San Clement, which was acquired by the Servite Order in 1234 and annexed to a new convent. The new church was consecrated only in 1533. The 15th century-style façade, however, was never finished, and the 13th century bell tower, originally in Romanesque style, was deeply modified in the following centuries (the last time in 1926).

1134. Salina is an island in the Aeolian Islands, north of Sicily, southern Italy. It is the second largest island in the archipelago. There are currently approximately 4,000 residents living on the island. Salina has a total surface area of 27 km². It is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List especially because of its worth for vulcanology.
