Well... in fact I'm going totally random. I will post pics from each of the twenty regions of Italy, I just need some time.

Why are so so interested in Frosinone? It's not such a beauty.

6. The façade of the Basilica della Casa Santa in Loreto, in the Marche region. It's the main Marian shrine in Italy. The basilica as a whole is a collaborative masterpiece by generations of architects and artists, including Vanvitelli, Domenichino, Guido Reni and Melozzo da Forlì.

@ sickoo:
Correct is "Bella Italia!" without any Accent or Article.
"La bella Itália" isn't Spanish either, but I think everybody gets what you want to say.

La Bella Italia is correct as well, though without any accent!
Trust in me, I'm Italian!

Federicoft congratulations for the thread, I tend to get bored when it comes to see 583784534789537894 pictures of the same city/town!

I'm looking forward to seeing the today's picture!

7. Genoa, capital of Liguria, nicknamed the Superb one, is the main seaport of Italy and one of the vertex of its industrial triangle along with Turin and Milan. During the Middle Ages it was one of the Italian Maritime Republics, it fiercely fought against Venice for the control over the Mediterranean and it gave birth to some of the greatest navigators, including Cristopher Columbus. The picture shows its main square, Piazza De Ferrari.

Thx, that was exactly the purpose.
Since I won't be able to update this thread for the next few days I'm going to forestall a bit the work.

If any of you happen to be passing through the Susa valley at about lunch time I strongly suggest you reach Meana di Susa (just a few km off the motorway near Susa) and dine at the Bellavista Hotel (in front of the station). I have never eaten so well in my whole life. What an experience!
