162. Torre Guaceto is a natural reserve near Brindisi. This stretch of coast, six kilometers long, includes a landscape strongly characterized by Mediterranean features, going from the sea beyond the dunes, through the Mediterranean maquis and the marshes, to a centuries-old olive grove. Each shape and color in the Park is influenced and shaped by the sea.

163. Summer moves on at the Poetto beach, 5 Kilometers from downtown of the Sardinia's main city, Cagliari. It stretches along about 11 Km of sandy coastline between sea and Molentargius salt ponds, the only european habitat for pink phoenicopters.
Poetto beach is also hosting main regattas and sail events during months from May to October.

One more from Sardinia...
163-Piscinas is a 3 km long beach in the Province of Carbonia-Iglesias in the Italian region of Sardinia, located at about 70 km northwest from Cagliari.
The beach is famous for its high sand dunes and for being next to a dismissed mineral area,where can be still admired the olds mine's structures.

What an amazing landscape! If the depth of the picture does not trick my eye, this place seems most unsuitable for those suffering of agoraphobia.

I think you've confused Piscinas with Porto Pino.

The photo you've uploaded is right, this is Piscinas, but the high white sand dunes located 40km south-west of Cagliari are the dunes of Porto Pino. The dunes of Piscinas (the biggest desert in Europe) are located 70km north-west of Cagliari.
