Fantastic photos everyone! This is like some travel book (even thou I visited many parts of Italy already).

That castle was kind of a bargain when purchased some 25 years ago but I have to admit it was properly set up since.
What's remarkable, it's not a medieval castle just turned into a glamorus villa to the point of not being recognizable anymore - as it used to happen in Lombardy- but shows a real integration of different styles and ages.

Not my favourite around here though.

on the Adriatic coast of Italy. It is located in province of Forlì-Cesena
in the region of Emilia-Romagna. Cesenatico was founded in 1302
and the port-channel was built in 1500 after an original design
by Leonardo da Vinci. Today this city is a popular tourist resort.

422. The neo-gothic Castello del Roccolo (Piedmont), built from 1831 by the Marquis Roberto Tapparelli d'Azeglio. The wonderful garden is realised following the canons of the Romantic style, here the nature is free of expressing itself. Xavier Kurten landscaped the park enriched by lakes, fountains, monumental greenhouses, grottos.

This castle is situated in the comune of Busca in the Province of Cuneo, not more than 1 km away from my family country house, really a nice place that host several cultural events.
