the Bow underconstruction in calgary alberta will have the grandest atrium in the world when compleated. it is designed by non other than foster and partners. here is a link the the 1 billion dollar Encana/The Bow tower.

It may not be as massive as some of these, but I like the classical elements that make up the atrium in the David Whitney Building in Detroit. The building currently is not being used, though that could change in the next few years.
