TIANJIN | R&F Tower | 415m | 93 floors. Orange – Ground works. Developer: R&F Properties. This highrise will be the tallest landmark tower at the newly developed Xiangluowan CBD in Binhai new area. Both the architect and the final height for this tower remain unveiled. We only know that Goettsch & Partners designed one of the proposals, probably the chosen one. Thanks to the spire, the total height should be easily above 450m. Ground breaking ceremony will take place in late 2009 according to recent news.Project thread.
New renders. Looks slightly different, a little shorter maybe.

@CoCoMilk. The 天津现代城二期 project is new to me too. You should open a thread if you can find a source confirming that it'll truly have more than 300m.

NANJING | Hunan Lu Plots 4&5 Development | 485m, 105 floors. Approved. Architect: AEDAS. Developer: Suning Real Estate. This is the third supertall project released by Suning for its home city. Though it was announced in mid 2009, construction schedule remains unknown. Project thread.
Murphy/Jahn proposal. Unlikely to be the final version since AEDAS claimed they won the contest. From http://www.murphyjahn.com/

350m, 338m, 225m

NANJING | Nanjing Tower | 450m, 118 floors. Approved. Architect: AEDAS. Developer: Suning Real Estate. This tower is called to become the main landmark project of Nanjing’s new Hexi CBD. The height could be drastically reduced according to unsourced rumors, and the final project could be just around 350-400m. Project thread.
400m, 90 floors. From Murphy/Jahn website. It could be the final design. http://www.murphyjahn.com/

More info about Nanning's coming Tianlong Fortune Center.

Design contest:

Proposal 1: Gensler + ECADI
Proposal 2: Wilkinson Eyre + GD-ARCH
Proposal 3: John Portman + SIADR
Proposal 4: Murphy/Jahn Architects + CSCENEI
Proposal 5: GMP + CABR

Source: http://www.zhaobiao.gov.cn/resultdetail/24650593.html

We should open a thread as soon as they release the renders.

Remember that according to preliminary releases the project would have 92 floors, so we should expect something around 400m here.

Yea I've read on another forum that have taken information from the government's website stating that the plot would be GC2010-003. Can't wait! Nanning is another rising star.

1 The plot GC2010-003 would be hosting 300m+

I'm extremely disappointed at the new Nanjing Tower design though... , hope they recycle the old design.

If I'm not wrong, in ss.cn they think that they'll use the AEDAS design for the Nanjing Tower, with some modifications. Basically a shorter version. We'll see...

About the Nanning project... Well, if we even know the contestants we may get renders very soon

TIANJIN | Yujiabao Financial Area Supertalls | 500m. Approved – Under design. Architect: SOM. This tower will be located at the core center of Yujiabao new area, the main skyscraper cluster of Binhai, the Tianjin’s district called to become a new Pudong or Shenzhen for the coming two decades, focusing a period of ultrafast development in the whole region of Bohai Rim. Preliminary models of Yujiabao show a number of supertalls in addition to SOM’s project, but the overall planning remains unclear. Soon after the master plan by Henning Larsen Architects got elected in mid-2008, the local government announced that SOM was designing the main landmark tower for the new district, whose preliminary height would be at 500m. According to some rumors, the tower will seek to become China’s tallest skyscraper. Project thread.
New render. One of the supertall designs? Not the main tower though.

This one was announced before, but the plot has shifted slightly, (was originally to the east of Isetan, now is to the north), and the height has been increased, (was 270-280, now looks like 300).

Murphy/Jahn proposal
320m, 61 floors. Hope it's not final, it's too short...

Seems like Murphy/Jahn's proposal could be final. 400m, 90 floors. They're using it for the CBD renders now. Pic by jeans-jeans.

The one on the right is the Nanjing WTC, 328m, by Gensler. And the other between both towers is Sun Hung Kai's plot, likely to host a supertall too (we still haven't seen any render).

This one is likely to be the final design. 388m they say.

Bonus pics by jeans-jeans. Many 200m+ projects coming for Nanjing it seems.

A project developed by Walsin Lihwa, a hi-tech company from Taiwan.. 70+, 60+ floors. Unknown heights. Supertall? 10% chances imo.

Project by China Huadian, one of the five main power generation companies. 3x48 floors. Hopefully taller than 200m.

Expansion of a mall by 中央商场/Central Emporium. The podium mall is already built, isn't it? 2x60~ floors. Likely around 240m.

Sun Hung Kai project in Nanjing Hexi CBD. 65~ floors plus crown, likely a preliminary render. They've always expected 300m+ for this plot. Pic by makevanbasten. It's the one on the left.
