Finally we can confirm that Greenland will build a supertall in Qingdao. 300m according to preliminary releases. 500m+ rumor dismissed.

We should open a thread once they release some clearer data, decent renders, etc.

350m proposal in Chongqing by HK Boshang studio (香港博尚建築規劃設計有限公司). It's the United Center in Jiangbei, close to Future International tower.
We have seen renders for this plot for years, and maybe this design is also very old. I don't think we should pay much attention to him till they release more info.

Older design, from http://www.hk-hc.com.

Somebody posted these renders in Galoumi. Since he didn't credit the source I'm not crediting him either. Some people are so arrogant they think everybody has to believe anything they say without worrying about evidences. On the other hand the renders seem quite reliable since we can see Haiya logo on them. The tower looks much shorter than 428m/98 floors though. Anybody who finds an official source of the renders feel free to open a thread.

Facts from the link posted by AACHINA:
428m, 98 floors.
Developer: Haiya Group (Shenzhen).
Architect: Unknown
Location: Kunming

CHONGQING | Jiangbei CBD Supertalls | 500m, 380m, 360m. Concept proposal – Plots on sale. The second core of Chongqing CBD will be located in Jiangbei. In late 2007, the government raised the maximum heights for its 3 key plots from 300m, 350m and 240m, located respectively at plots A13, A07 and A11. Chongqing Finance Tower announced. 520m, 130 floors. We should open a thread as soon as they release the first renders.

They're planning a 320m tower in Nanchang according to the press today. Maybe the proposal is too vague to be taken seriously.

TIANJIN | Yujiabao Financial Area Supertalls | 500m. Approved – Under design. Architect: SOM. This tower will be located at the core center of Yujiabao new area, the main skyscraper cluster of Binhai, the Tianjin’s district called to become a new Pudong or Shenzhen for the coming two decades, focusing a period of ultrafast development in the whole region of Bohai Rim. Preliminary models of Yujiabao show a number of supertalls in addition to SOM’s project, but the overall planning remains unclear. Soon after the master plan by Henning Larsen Architects got elected in mid-2008, the local government announced that SOM was designing the main landmark tower for the new district, whose preliminary height would be at 500m. According to some rumors, the tower will seek to become China’s tallest skyscraper. Project thread.
Possible proposal for one of the supertall plots, they didn't post any source. 390m they said.

Finally some news about this project.
There're 3 proposals for the main tower: HOK, GMP and XIANDAI. We should open a thread as soon as they release the new renders. 300m+ anyway.

Haha. Well, and I'm not posting almost vague proposal anymore unless we have rednders or something, since too many of them become never built projects/cancelled proposals. In Qingdao alone there're over 5 unconfirmed upcoming supertalls I haven't writen about since they are just forum rumors by the moment.
