The picture is between junction 159 and 160. But in that time there were no numbers at the junctions in Sweden. Look at the old signs at the road.
You can still see that many of these large road projects in Stockholm were constructed for driving on the left, many on ramps still appear to be built the wrong way around.

Settlers Way, Cape Town circa 1963.

image hosted on flickr

Published in The Tourist in South Africa 1965 - 1966 and posted on Flickr by HiltonT.

The caption reads: Cape Town's network of freeways is acknowledged to be the best in Africa. Here Devil's Peak overlooks Settlers Way - the exit to the National Road, to the Garden Route and Natal.

Little has changed here except the addition of a concrete crash barrier and the signs.

At the end of this movie few shots are from Belgrade. Marx and Engels square.

No. Demolished in 1996 and built a new overpass.

The main shape of this road (Ferihegyi repülőtérre vezető út - "Road leading to Ferihegy Airport") is more or less the same today: 2 x 1 lanes, no emergency lanes and barriers at each side of the road, protecting it from any traffic that would join from the side.

One can imagine that in the '40s and '50s, a broken-down vehicle in one of the directions was not of a big obstacle for the rest of the traffic flow - but today ...!

Odd, graceless bridgedesign. Only seen before on old pictures of a Reichsautobahn from the 1930's-1940's.
