Nice ones Jan

I really like this b&w-style with sporadic colored spots. Makes quite a different impression than the usual b&w.

How do you attach this (with Photoshop I guess)? I can't find the proper options for this effect. Since now I've made it with a different software, which was quite unsatisfying. Thanks in advance.

Before I forget about: Those impressions show Rotterdam, don't they?

This effect is quite easy in photoshop using the hue & saturation function, setting all but the colours you'd like to keep in gray mode.

Of course we've got snow in the Netherlands. Although I've got the feeling that 10-15 years ago the was more snowfall than the last few years.

So yeah, we do have snow, we're not in the Sahara or something

Actually snow that sticks on trees like that without turning into something gray and mushy within and hour or two is quite uncommon.

Hmm... okay then.. it's just that the Netherlands are a few C's warmer than Denmark and both nations kept mild by the ocean and the gulfstream, so I would suspect snow to be even more rare down there than up here..

So far this winter I've only seen one occation with real snow here in Copenhagen - it lasted 2hours on grass ( about 5min on the pavement )

So with Jan's pictures being so winterly ( and early datewise ) I was surpriced!
